Congratulation to Malaysia badminton team for winning 3 gold medal at the recent Glasgow Commonwealth Games and became the overall champion in badminton event. Without strong opponent like Korea and China, Malaysia was able to defend their mixed team gold medal in the absent of world no. 1 Lee Chong Wei. After Thomas cup in May, Tan Wee King & Goh V Shem continue their good run when they helping Malaysia to retain the gold medal in men's doubles event. Malaysia also regain women's doubles gold through Woon Khe Wei and Vivian Hoo Kah Mun. However Malaysia lost their men's singles and mixed doubles gold to India and England respectively.
