Malaysia badminton team is represented by Tan Wee Kiong, Goh V Shem, Chong Wei Feng, Liew Daren, Vivian Hoo Kah Mun, Woon Khe Wei, Lai Pei Jing, Lim Yin Loo, Tee Jing Yi & Chan Peng Soon. The team is facing big challenge to defend their mixed team event gold medal as the world no. 1 Lee Chong Wei is absent from the team.
