Olympic and world champion Hendra Setiawan first met his wife Sandiani Arief or also known as Sansan in early of 2008. She was introduced to Hendra Setiawan by his teammate Alvent Yulianto. After that they were officially together since March 2008. Sansan who also is cousin of Alvent Yulianto is staying in Surabaya while Hendra Setiawan is in Jakarta . They were in long distance relationship for 3 years before they were get married in October 2011.
